Anita Ballaney is an Engagement Leader in the IT Strategy practice of Infosys Consulting. She has 13 years’ experience in global project management in complex environments of multiple Fortune 10 companies. Anita has extensive experience in revenue (pricing & yield) management, accounting functions, supply chain operations, technology management, capital planning, global operations, business process reengineering for large organizations. She specializes in bespoke solution strategies - some of which have led to "industry-sector firsts" solutions. Anita has an MBA from UT Austin, as well as Masters in Computer Applications (MCA) and an undergraduate degree in Physics from India.
Arindom Basu heads the European practice of Infosys Consulting. With over 17 years of management consulting experience, he has worked in both the public and private sectors in the UK, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, India and China. Arindom has extensive experience in assisting clients in defining and implementing business and IT transformations across a number of industry sectors including financial services, manufacturing and retail. Prior to this, he was with management consultants Accenture in various roles in Europe and Asia Pacific.
Barry West, who is with the IT Strategy & Transformation Practice of Infosys Consulting, has over 20 years of experience in all facets of information technology. His expertise spans IT strategic planning, IT alignment and governance, operational performance improvement, IT transformations and business process reengineering. Barry has designed and implemented shared services organizations and associated IT systems to support several global organizations in energy, utilities, banking, hi-tech and manufacturing industries. Barry received his MBA from SMU and his undergraduate degree from Ole Miss. He lives in Plano, Texas.
Burkhard Blechschmidt is a Senior Engagement Leader and heads the German Practice of Infosys Consulting. He has over 15 year of management consulting experience and focuses on global, integrated business/IT strategies, helping companies transform themselves to compete in a flat world. He has supported clients across industries to globalize their operating model, simplify and automate business processes and define and implement new IT organizations and IT solutions. Burkhard holds a Master in Business and Economics from the University of Cologne.
Jim Shand is a Practice Leader in the IT Strategy & Transformation Practice of Infosys Consulting Inc. With over 20 years in management consulting, Jim has focused on helping clients with IT management, in developing effective IT Strategies, improving the performance of the IT function, implementing cost reduction strategies and implementing transformations that have resulted from mergers and acquisitions. Jim holds an MBA from MIT Sloan and completed his undergraduate course at Brunel University, UK. He lives in Plano, Texas.

Michael received both his MBA and undergraduate degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and now lives in Atlanta.
Steve Rothman is a Practice Leader in Infosys Consulting’s IT Strategy & Transformation Practice in Chicago. He has over 30 years of experience in technology-driven business transformation, IT strategy and architecture, custom software development and system integration, large-scale program management and the transformation of information technology organizations. He has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Union College and an MS in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University.
