Aaron M. Oser

Partner, Firmwide Leader, Pillsbury Global Sourcing

Aaron M. OserAaron Oser is the father of four children, three of which are millennials. Aaron is the Firmwide Leader of Pillsbury's Global Sourcing integrated legal and consulting practice and has over 25 years of experience counselling clients on complex information technology and business process outsourcing relationships, enterprise-wide licensing agreements and a vast array of other technology-related transactions, including cloud, development and ERP system implementation transactions. He has provided strategic advice and counsel on a number of the largest and most complex outsourcing transactions, including several that are recognized within the industry as ‘landmark’ deals. From an industry perspective, Aaron has represented a wide array of clients in many different industries, including financial services, healthcare, utilities, manufacturing, automotive, retail and education. Aaron leads up all strategic direction for the Global Sourcing group and is actively involved in all marketing efforts. Aaron also maintains significant relationships with the outsourcing supplier community and has established relationships with many senior executives at most of the tier 1 and 2 outsourcing supplier companies. As firmwide leader of Pillsbury Global Sourcing, Aaron has brought new innovations to grow the practice, enhance its service offerings and develop the group’s talent.


Anirban Dey

President - Customers & Operations

Anirban DeyAndy has diversified experience in general management, cloud and platform technologies, enterprise applications and in incubating Big Data solutions. At EdgeVerve, Andy heads the Sales, Marketing, Services and Operations. Prior to joining EdgeVerve, Andy was SVP at Concur Technologies (now part of SAP) and was heading the R&D for Concur’s Cloud solutions in Travel and Expense. He has also spent 6+ years at SAP Labs India in various roles, joining them as VP for BI & Data Warehouse solutions and later went on to head the HANA R&D Team in India. His last role was to lead SAP Labs India as its Managing Director. Prior to SAP, Andy was with Oracle Inc. for 10+ years in their Applications Division at Redwood Shores, CA, USA.


Anubhav Saxena

President, Global Managed Services, Research and Data Services, ISG

Anubhav SaxenaAnubhav Saxena is a respected leader in the global sourcing industry with two decades of experience working with major information technology service providers. In his current role, he is responsible for ISG Global Managed Services, one of the company’s fastest-growing business units and a major contributor to its revenue and long-term strategic success. Anubhav also manages the Global Research and Data Services business, which continues to provide valuable insights across the sourcing lifecycle to enterprises and service providers around the world.

Before joining ISG, Anubhav held a series of senior executive positions with HCL Technologies, among the fastest- growing IT products and services companies in the world. Most recently he was responsible for business development, OEM alliances, and all horizontal and vertical service offerings worldwide, after earlier leading HCL’s IT Infrastructure and ITO Services businesses through a period of rapid growth and expansion. While at HCL, he was pioneer in developing the company’s Saas/Cloud Computing services.

Anubhav earlier worked with Wipro Ltd., a leading global information technology, consulting and outsourcing company, where he oversaw the Enterprise Products, Solutions and Services division for the Indian subcontinent. He began his career with Fujitsu ICIM Ltd., a global IT and business process outsourcer.

A founding member of the G2000 IT Client Executive Councils, Anubhav has been a presenter at the World Economic Forum and a recipient of a number of CXO awards. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics) degree from the University of Pune, India.


Carlos Hernandez

Partner, Avasant

Carlos HernandezCarlos Hernandez is the head of Avasant’s Strategic Sourcing practice area. He is an accomplished bilingual management consultant and sourcing solutions executive who brings more than 17 years of professional experience in both senior IT management and consulting for the strategic sourcing and IT strategy space. Carlos led the sourcing strategy and vendor management practice for Gartner, North America, and he provided thought leadership in the vendor management and governance space. Carlos has broad experience in international sourcing engagements for global organizations having led and participated in engagements spanning the entire IT sourcing lifecycle. His engagements include international clients in Europe, Latin America, and the U.S. Prior to joining Avasant as a Partner and practice head, Carlos was a Director at Alsbridge, Gartner and a Senior Consultant for IBM.


David Rutchik

Managing Director, Pace Harmon

David RutchikDavid Rutchik has over 20 years of experience in the technology, telecom and consulting industries. He served as President of the Internet Data Center and Outsourcing division of an international outsourcing and networking supplier backed by Goldman, Sachs & Co., as well as Vice President of Commercial Operations for an industry leading telecom and technology supplier. Earlier in his career, he was a member of the outsourcing practice of Shaw Pittman (now Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP).

David specializes in negotiating complex, commercial transactions in areas such as IT and Business Process Outsourcing. He has represented both suppliers and buyers in numerous deals cumulatively worth several billion dollars and has worked with all major industry players including IBM, HP, CSC, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Oracle, SAP, AT&T, Accenture, Cognizant and many others. His management experience includes full P&L, Operations, Corporate Development, M&A, Sales & Marketing, Product Development, Program Management, and Legal.

David is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, and holds a JD from the Vanderbilt University School of Law, where he was Associate Editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review.


Dieter Gerdemann

Partner, Americas, A.T. Kearney

Dieter GerdemannDieter Gerdemann is a partner with A.T. Kearney where he is a member of the Communications, Media & Technology Practice for the Americas. He has worked extensively in Europe and North America, leading strategy and operations engagements for telecom and high-tech clients. Dieter is based in A.T. Kearney’s San Francisco office.

He has worked on notable client engagements including, direct cost transformation program for a leading global IT equipment manufacturer; pre-merger integration planning for a top home appliances manufacturer; services transformation for a global telecom equipment and services provider; digital health strategy for a top consumer electronics brand; turn-around program for a Mexican mobile operator; supplier performance improvement for a consumer electronics supplier; and engineering performance improvement for a Chinese original device manufacturer.

Dieter has published and spoken in the national press on a variety of transformation-related topics and presented at conferences in Silicon Valley. He serves on the board of the German American Business Association in Silicon Valley.

Before joining A.T. Kearney, Dieter worked as a consultant at Computer Sciences Corporation and Sapient. He earned his master’s degree in computer science from the University of Würzburg in Germany and his MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University in the Netherlands.


Jaymalya Palit

Head, Product Strategy, EdgeVerve

Jaymalya PalitPalit has over 20 years’ experience in various aspects of software product management and strategy and solution architecting and consulting to the FSI industry.

At Infosys, Palit was heading Product Strategy for Finacle. He was part of the leadership team at Finacle which was responsible for making this a flagship product for Infosys. Palit brings a very deep experience and expertise in all aspects of technology product management, strategy and development.

He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT-KGP).


John Rowe

Principal, Enaxis Consulting

John RoweJohn Rowe is a Principal at Enaxis Consulting. He has over 23 years of management consulting and industry experience spanning a number of industry verticals to include automotive, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, oil & gas, retail, and transportation. His experience includes extensive knowledge of both business process and information technology management.

Prior to Enaxis, John was Group Client Partner at Wipro where he held end-to-end management responsibility for multiple infrastructure outsourcing relationships utilizing both onshore and offshore delivery operating models. He also served in an Associate Partner role with Accenture’s, which developed infrastructure technology solutions for Global 1000 clients to include strategy, design, transition, sourcing, and operations. John is responsible for Enaxis third party relationships. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Texas A&M University.


Jeff Augustin

Managing Director, Outsourcing Advisory, Alsbridge

Jeff AugustinJeff leads Alsbridge’s Outsourcing Advisory Practice. He has 30 years of business experience, including five years as a CIO for professional service firms and 23 years in providing IT outsourcing and business process outsourcing services and two years as an advisor providing services to global Fortune 500 companies.

He has worked with hundreds of organizations in a variety of industries and countries. Before joining Alsbridge, Jeff was Vice President of Retail services for HCL Technologies and Vice President of HP’s Retail Industry group. From 2004 – 2006 he held the position of managing director and CIO for Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) Global General Motors Business Unit. He also spent time from 1998 to 2004 with Ernst & Young (E&Y), where he was responsible for outsourcing operations and business development. When Capgemini acquired E&Y’s consulting and outsourcing business, he was named Vice President and CIO for Capgemini North America. He began his career with EDS and during his initial 14-year EDS tenure, he led global accounts in the manufacturing and transportation industry groups.

Throughout his 30-year career, Jeff has led sales, service delivery, and business operations in Australia, Germany, France, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Brazil, Hong Kong, India, Russia, China, Jamaica, and the UK.


Phil Fersht

Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Industry Analyst, HfS Research

Phil FershtPhil Fersht is Founder, CEO and Industry Analyst for leading global analyst authority for the services industry, HfS Research. He is an acclaimed author, analyst and visionary in Global IT services and business operations and has been focusing heavily on automation, cognitive computing and evolving "digital talent" strategies. Fersht coined the term "The As-a-Service Economy," which is HfS Research's vision for the future of the global services and outsourcing industry and has become widely adopted by the global services industry.

Fersht founded HfS Research in 2010 and has masterminded the development of the HfS organization as a leading analyst for the firm, in addition to steering the business operations. He is also author and creator of the most widely-read and acclaimed blog in the global services industry, entitled “Horses for Sources” and now entering its ninth year, attracting over a million visits per year across the globe. (AMR Research), directing the firm’s BPO and IT Services practices and served as market leader for Deloitte Consulting’s BPO Advisory Services, where he led numerous outsourcing and offshoring advisory engagements with Fortune 500 enterprises. He began his career with IT analyst IDC.

Fersht contributes regularly to media such as Wall St Journal, Business Week, Economist, The Times of India and CIO Magazine and is a regular keynote speaker at major industry events, such as NASSCOM, Sourcing Interests Group and the HfS Blueprint Sessions.


Rajashekara V. Maiya

Associate Vice President & Head – Finacle Product Strategy & Pre-sales

Rajashekara V. MaiyaRajashekara Maiya is responsible for charting Finacle’s product strategy and defining its product roadmap, strategic acquisitions, alliance partnerships, and client engagements. He represents the company while interacting with external stakeholders such as analysts and the media. He is also responsible for the pre-sales function at Finacle. He has played several roles across diverse areas, including product management, solution architecture, implementation, and pre-sales over the last 17 years at Infosys.

Maiya has been instrumental in the conceptualization and planning of Finacle Enterprise – the latest addition to the Finacle portfolio designed to deliver simplified transformation and progressive modernization capabilities to global banks.

Maiya specializes in core banking, risk management, regulations, and compliance. He has been quoted on these and other topics in reputed publications such as Forbes, The Banker, Banking Technology, The Economist, Business Line, BBC Radio, and the Economic Times. He is on the expert panel of the McKinsey Quarterly; is a member of the XBRL Abstract Modelling Task Force (AMTF) Group; and is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Maiya holds several patents and has pending patents in the areas of partner portals, delivery channels, offline banking, and customer experience.

Prior to joining Infosys in 1997, Maiya was an audit manager with an accountancy practice. He holds a master’s degree in commerce, specializing in banking, costing, and taxation.


Richard Longo

Chief Strategy Officer, Edgeverve

Richard LongoRichard Longo has significant experience in working with financial institutions and companies of all asset tiers that are going through banking business and technology transformations. He has a strong experience in identifying, planning and executing on those business strategies. In his current role, he serves as Chief Strategy Officer at EdgeVerve for the Finacle universal banking suite.

He has successfully led the launch of a next generation core banking solution, written completely in Java and built using SOA principles to the U.S. market. Knowledgeable in starting up new ventures from the ground up. In addition, his previous experience extends to being a senior banking officer with broad experience in all aspects of commercial, wealth management, retail operations and strategic business development.

Stanton Jones

Director of Research & Principal Analyst, ISG

Stanton JonesStanton is the Director of Research and Principal Analyst at ISG, where he leads the sourcing strategy view within ISG’s new subscription-based ISG Insights business. Stanton’s research and writing focuses on the impact of emerging technology within the context of the global outsourcing market, and he has been quoted publications like CIO, Forbes and The Times.
