Video: Remediation Strategy Oriented ICD-10 Testing

Comments

Thanks Dr Suman for the quick summary view on testing. Yes, the success of this ICD10 transition entirely depends on 'exhaustive' testing done and 'appropriate' testing strategy adopted to do the system, integration, reggression and sandbox testing that you depicted.

Besides, I would think from Payer perspective - Testing would majorly revolve round testing systems internal to Payer and 3rd party systems external to Payer serviced by Vendors. Also, one of the testing area probably that need focus would be Data warehouse testing/validation for analysis and Reporting. May be there is a need to test Data Migration in case of scenario where we need to store both ICD9 and ICD10 for serving a business function.

Also, If you see the amount of process re-engineering taking place and huge volume of data involved, some time I tend to think on "performance Testing" of the systems as well. Cheers and Thanks.
