Infosys Learning Services: An overview
A word about the practice: We’re a new addition to Infosys’ service list. Infosys’ Learning Services enables learning for global companies. Through our client interactions and research, we found that business executives in these companies are forced to double as “learning experts” in order to get their work done. Picture, for a moment, the busy CIO who faces work disruptions as the majority of her experienced staff is expected to leave the company in the next 3 years because of retirement. Or, think about the VP of Sales Operations, who’s under pressure to show the benefits of the millions of dollars he invested in new automated processes, except that no one is using the new processes. Or, how about this- the Training department head who is now trying to figure out how she is going to bring just-in-time learning to the new team in India and China without replicating the classroom-based corporate university in every country… Without a trusted partner in learning, most of these business executives would fumble through these challenges, investing more money into band-aid solutions that wouldn’t work. Enter Infosys’ Learning Services: we are focused on these business problems and easily blend traditional tools - such as training, knowledge management and performance management with new tools such as collaboration, social networking tools, simulation and games.
