Having spent the last 16+ years of his career in life sciences, David has spent the last three years with Infosys in a variety of roles – quality and test leader for an application migration project involving 200+ applications; quality leader for a technology refresh project for top 20 business critical manufacturing applications; and business analyst for enterprise document management and regulatory submissions management systems. In addition, he is considered a driving force behind the implementation of SOX IT General Controls.

Kamal Biswas

Kamal BiswasKamal Biswas leads the Life Sciences Consulting practice at Infosys. He is the author of Pharma’s Prescription: How the Right Technology Can Save the Pharmaceutical Business, published by Elsevier Inc.

Kamal’s career spans close to two decades in the pharmaceutical industry and management consulting. He spent 10 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, technical R&D, and new product launches before moving into management consulting. This experience has served him well in developing several technology-driven solutions that have helped pharmaceutical companies transform business functions to enhance business values.

Kamal has worked in Europe, Asia and the Americas. Prior to Infosys, he worked with a number of pharmaceutical majors, including Ciba Geigy, Novartis, Pfizer, GSK, Aventis, J&J, and BMS. He is a strategist and evangelist of pharmaceutical business transformation through non-traditional methods and is a frequent speaker at industry councils.

Kamal attended business school for international marketing and holds a Master’s degree in engineering and technology. He is a certified ISO9000 Quality Auditor and is a member of the board in several industry forums.


Dr. Kavya Gupta

She has successfully published a paper in PLOS ONE on ‘Customization of the Exome Data Analysis Pipeline Using a Combinatorial Approach.’

Pranav Ganesh Gadre

Shruti Rastogi
