Elevator Pitch for Win 7

Recently during one of the client discussions, I was asked to summarize 5 key points in 1 minute on why the client should entrust technology refresh program to us. Suddenly caught up in this situation, this is what I described:

1. The proposition of Infosys Migration Framework to migrate technology platforms with minimum business interruptions & downtime coupled with savings of $90- $160 per PC per annum (based on the study and assessment from Microsoft) is very compelling.

2. Besides being a Platinum Sponsor for the recently concluded Microsoft New Efficiency Launch (Windows 7, Windows 2008 R2 and Exchange 2010); Infosys has been part of Windows 7 Technology adoption program (TAP) in the capacity of the systems integrator and by extensive product testing has developed strong expertise on the product to help organizations to exploit the full potential of Windows 7 in enterprise wide rollout.

3. Infosys as an early adopter of Windows 7, has done pilot on 200 machines and plan to move 70% of our machines to Windows 7.

4. We are currently helping some of the large enterprises across geographies and industries for Windows 7 Pilot / POC, readiness assessments and actual migrations.

5. With a breadth of solution offerings, accelerators, strategies, best practices from current client engagements and past experience, Infosys offers a worry free migration to Windows 7 with expected reduction of migration cost upto 35%.

When I think of this again, obviously there are many aspects which differntiates us and help our clients in their transformation journey... watch this space for more on those...
