MOAC ?

While R12 does provide lots of major enhancements over previous releases, like SLA, Legal Entity, MOAC (Multi Organization Access Control), etc., there is a concern in the client community about the Fusion Roadmap, which is resulting in deferred upgrade decisions.

Agreed that R12 has some advanced functionalities. But from this post, it is not clear how R12 will help customers to optimise their cost of operation, which is paramount in the current environment. One would expect any implementation to cost more and take a longer time to stabilise (and thereby costing more).
Are there any pointers on how R12 implementation (now) can help them manage and optimise their operations ?

With enhancements like MOAC (Multi Org Access Control), Agents have access to transactional data across OU's. This helps to improve the shared service operations. Agents need not toggle between responsibilities to access and manage the data that is spread across OU's. This helps in reducing the processing time. Even for call center operations, same agent can support multiple OU’s that are typically spread across countries. MOAC also helps in providing a global view of sales data.
