Day 2 at OOW 2010 : Rendezvous of 119 nations...

It started off with a Keynote in the morning with Oracle's Chief Marketing Officer giving some interesting bits:

  • This is largest Oracle Openworld with more than 41,000 attendees that include the JavaOne attendees as well.
  • People from 119 countries are attending OOW.

Well we had finally Mark Hurd, Oracle's new President, taking the stage; followed by Fujitsu's impressive keynote showcasing their engineering skills of their various products. Then again we had some announcements around launch of storage products.

The exhibition halls opened immediately after the morning keynote. Infosys' booth is very strategically located, attracting lot of attention from customers and partners. Also we had a special day long session from Oracle's Enterprise Architecture team explaining their framework.

Also, there were many Infosys' speaking sessions scheduled for today. Many of these sessions were heavily attended and received very rave comments.

The evening ended with a Keynote by Thomas Kurian in JavaOne conference.

Earlier, on Sep 19, Infosys was declared winner of the Oracle North America Titan Award 2010 for its Supply Chain Management (SCM) solution...
