The Next Step After InStep

Hello and goodbye. Friday Aug 7th 2009 was my last day at Infosys as an InStep Intern where I have spent the past nine weeks working with the online marketing team and participating in a number of InStep projects. While I’m sad to leave India, I will starting my final year of college and beginning the post-undergrad job search upon returning to the United States.

Over the next year, I will be blogging on careers from a job-seeker’s point of view and contributing on the discussion surrounding sustainable development. While Indian IT firms have benefited greatly from globalization, it is clear that there are not enough organizations like Ashoka and the Infosys Foundation with the aim of reducing poverty and raising quality of life for people worldwide.
